Nick Parker has more than 20 years experience as an award-winning writer, editor and publisher. He began his career as a reporter covering high school sports in rural Missouri and then in the Kansas City suburb of Lee's Summit. He is currently the editor and publisher of Link 2 Lee's Summit, a digital media site covering the Lee's Summit Community.

Thom Hanrahan
Thom Hanrahan has spent the better part of his adult life in newsrooms. Currently the sports editor for the Courier-Tribune, based in Liberty, he has covered high school athletics in Missouri, Kansas and Texas. He is a former educator, having taught journalism and served as the advisor for student publications at Missouri Southern and Missouri Western state universities.

Cody Thorn
Cody Thorn is the editor of the Platte County Citizen. He has covered high school athletes throughout the state of Missouri, previously serving as sports editor for the Neosho Daily News and St. Joseph News-Press.

Brent Kalwei
Brent Kalwei returned to his roots when he became sports editor for the Jackson County Advocate newspaper, having the opportunity to cover his alma mater, Ruskin High School in South Kansas City. At the Advocate, he covers three metro-area high schools: Ruskin, Grandview and Center; and has won numerous awards through the Missouri Press Association for his coverage of high school sports.

Fred Liggett
Fred Liggett has been covering Lee's Summit area athletics for the past three seasons as a freelance journalist for the Lee's Summit Tribune. He offers local fans a recap of Friday night action in a weekly Facebook Live show airing from Third Street Social in downtown Lee's Summit.

Troy Chrisman
Troy Chrisman has nearly 30 years experience with high school athletics in the Eastern Jackson County area. Prior to joining the Blue Springs School District's communications office, he covered high school athletics as a writer and editor for the Examiner and the Lee's Summit Journal.
