Taking note of the trailblazers

As the Varsity Kansas City gang catches you up on action throughout the metro, they take a little time offer up a suggestion for those running the 2019 MSHSAA State Wrestling Championships — every girl who qualifies this season should be named to the All-State squad. “They’re trailblazer,” says panelist Troy Chrisman. “They’ve set the stage for all the female wrestlers who follow. This year, this one time, they’re all All-State.”

Developing stories

We’re in the middle of the winter season and there are some storylines developing. Rockhurst basketball, Liberty wresting and Liberty North and Blue Springs swimming have been dominant. We’ve even got a post-game interview with former Grandview standout and current Kansas City Chief, Xavier Williams.
