Week 3 — The conference battles cometh

Here we are staring at week 3 of the high school football season. As teams look to start settling into the heart of their conference schedules and battles against long-time rivals, the panel looks at how coaches and players will begin to make adjustments in search of advantageous matchups. This week's schedule has several big games, including: Rockhurst (1-1) at Raymore-Peculiar (2-0); Lee's Summit (2-0) at Staley (2-0); and Grain Valley (2-0) at Smithville (2-0).

Some big questions this week, will the three Lee's Summit schools remain undefeated for another week? Can Staley run the table? In a battle of unbeaten conference newcomers, will it be Grain Valley or Smithville who notches their first Suburban Conference victory? And just how good is Summit Christian Academy?
